International Area Sales Manager bij Kiremko

In this position you represent Kiremko and you are responsible for the sales of our machines in the India region. You maintain contacts with existing customers, research the market and actively build effective relationships with prospects. The daily activities consist of:

  • draw up a regional business case together with your manager and implement it.
  • actively target the market (prospects and existing customers) in the region and report this information through our CRM.
  • make proposals, test them and discuss them with the customer in consultation with colleagues from the Internal Sales Department, Product Development and our Indian team.
  • conduct all negotiations with customers, within the set frameworks in the field of customer-specific requirements, product requirements, safety, delivery time, prices, margins, etc.
  • contribute to further shaping the sales support activities of the branch in India.
Where you end up

Kiremko has been developing and building innovative machines for the potato processing industry for over 50 years. We do this from our modern building in Montfoort. We also take care of the installation and maintenance of the machines for our customers worldwide! We do this with a committed, professional and enthusiastic team of more than 170 colleagues. There is a social, informal and pleasant atmosphere.

As an Area Sales Manager, you work a lot together with colleagues from the Sales office, the Product Development department, Product management and the regional team in India. Your home base is our office in Montfoort. It goes without saying that you can be found in the region regularly. You are accountable to the Sales Manager.

Who you are

We are looking for a proactive Sales Manager with thorough knowledge of the market in India or someone who is at least well familiar with the business culture in India and the region. You can work independently and see and take advantage of opportunities. You have at least technical insight and preferably have previously worked in a production environment and are familiar with production processes. In addition, you have:

  • a strong technical basis at HBO level is required (preferably mechanical engineering).
  • good sales skills and persuasiveness.
  • representative appearance.
  • organizational capacity.
  • excellent communication skills.
  • excellent command of the English language.
  • willing to travel regularly to the region.

  • a salary of €4,700 to approximately €7,200 gross per month. Classification based on education, knowledge and experience.

  • 8.33% holiday pay
  • full-time employment (40 hours) with flexible working hours (start between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM and end time between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM).
