Test engineer aviation bij Sun Test Systems

Weesp   Fulltime   3.000 - 4.500 Laat je gegevens achter What you will be doing

Working with high-tech aviation equipment for F16, JSF, and Chinook helicopters, among others. With plenty of room to learn, a above-average salary, and 15 ADV (Additional Vacation) days! In our modern, lean-equipped workshop in Weesp, you will be responsible for testing and assembling "Ground Support Equipment." Whenever possible, you contribute suggestions for improvements. Does this appeal to you? Then you might be the Test Engineer we are looking for at SunTest Systems in Weesp.

Your tasks include testing and assembling complete mobile units. You identify discrepancies in the drawings and/or the production process and, often in collaboration with engineers and team leaders, propose potential solutions and improvements. A new machine only goes to the customer after you've signed off on it.

There is ample room for development, and you, as an employee, are the focus. Training and courses are encouraged, and there are numerous study, career advancement, and skill development opportunities in various technologies.

Where you end up

Safety in the air through high-quality technology and innovative solutions. That's what the over 100 professionals at Sun Test Systems work on day in and day out. They design, develop, sell, and maintain advanced "ground support equipment."

These technically and qualitatively high-end mobile machines are used in military aviation to test and maintain helicopters and (combat) aircraft. Depending on the type, these machines have various functionalities, such as completely cleaning hydraulic oil from air and water particles. Additionally, they can provide electricity, compressed air, nitrogen, and include a light mast.

Every day, these products prove their reliability worldwide for countless aircraft, helicopters, and vehicles in the most demanding operational environments.

Sun Test Systems is above all a very human organization. In a professional environment, people have opportunities to develop their talents. There is a strong product portfolio with great potential in the international (defense) aviation and automotive markets. Development is highly encouraged.

Who you are

  • Experience with hydraulics.
  • A completed MBO or HBO degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related aviation field.
  • Experience in reading drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency in Dutch or English.
  • Living in The Netherlands.

However, we don't live in an ideal world. If you have some overlap and are highly motivated, we would still like to hear from you. Developing, training, and challenging is what we stand for.

What we offer

A responsible, challenging, and varied job in a motivated team, with plenty of room for initiative. In addition, a Test Engineer with us gets:
